The mahr includes parts of a property and some land in Ashkazar, a carpet, some clothing, a mirror, copper containers, a chest, a chador, and some red gold. After Nayib Ibrahim, son of Haji Muhammad Baqir from Khuzan, died without leaving a will, there was a dispute between Nayib Ibrahim's wife Khanum Sultan, daughter of Mirza Muhammad Hasan from Andan, and Nayib Ibrahim's daughter Aqa Baygum, wife of ‘Abd al-Rahman. Khanum Sultan demanded her share of the inheritance and what was hers according to her marriage contract. This settlement is between Mirza Aqa ‘Ali Akbar, on behalf of Khanum Sultan, and Aqa Mirza ‘Ali Muhammad, on behalf of Aqa Baygum, over Khanum Sultan's share of the inheritance, her mahr, and the gold mentioned in her marriage...

News related to a Bakhtiyari man, published in issues 53 to 56 of Iran-i naw: A Bakhtiyari man, called Amir, was arrested for kidnapping a woman. He was released after it became clear that the woman was his mut‘a wife. The Trade Association of bazaar representatives visited the Cabinet and discussed the issue of the Bakhtiyari man and another incident near a pistachio garden. Sardar As‘ad confirms the man’s innocence, and refutes the pistachio garden incident altogether.
